Why Study B.Sc. (Hons.) Agri./ Hort. and M.Sc. Agri. / Hort. at SAIRAM?

High-tech innovations are driving the modern agriculture sector, such as Agri-Stack (digital infrastructure for hte Agriculture industry), drone and smart sensors for crop monitoring using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML), and Molecular Biology applied to crop quality enhancement.

The institute follows the ICAR-approved UG/PG curriculums. The Student Ready Program, i.e. Rural Agriculture Work Experience (RAWE), and Experiental Learning Program (ELP) are implemented as entrepreneurial training programme.

Fully equipped facilities/laboratories - Soil Science, Plant Pathology, Entomology, Tissue Culture (Horticulture), Mushroom Spawn & Growing Room, Shade-net/Poly House, Library and Experimental Fields.

Placement Cell: Organizes carrer-oriented activities, such as resume writing, building workshops, mock interviews, job fairs, and career counselling aessions; Personality Development Programme to enchane entrepreneurial skills, Communication Skills, Natioonal Service Scheme (NSS volunteering programme) and other activities.

Hostel facilities are available for boys and girls

Mode of fee payment for B.Sc. Agriculture/Horticulture:
(a) Fee payable in three installments
(b) Admission Fee (Rs 5000) exempted for candidates scoring above 80% & 20% discount for candidates scoring above 70% (condiditons Apply).
